Individual and general funding by the City of Vienna's cultural department (MA 7) for research projects, symposia, conferences, lectures, and event series, plus science stipends. Per the funding guidelines, theses, purely medical, and commercial projects (among others) are not funded.
Next deadline: 30.09.2026
Deadline: Projects up to €5,000: rolling until 8 weeks before start; from €5,001: 1–30 September for the following year
Funding amount: natürliche Personen bis 10.000 € (laut Förderrichtlinien)
Target group: Adult natural persons with main residence in Vienna, plus companies, legal persons, and registered partnerships based in Vienna
