Robert Roe Memorial Award Award

Honour of the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations in memory of former EFPA president Robert Roe: the award recognises psychologists whose work contributes towards making a better society by demonstrating the relevance of psychological knowledge and achieving impact in society, communicating psychological science for societal benefit, or using psychological science for public policy influencing. It is awarded during the European Congress of Psychology.

Deadline: 2027 award round: per the timetable, the call for nominations goes to EFPA member associations in September 2026, the deadline for sending in nominations by EFPA members is March 25, 2027, 09:00 am CET, and the awards are presented in September 2027.

Target group: Nomination only: candidates are put forward by EFPA member associations — per the awards page, a nomination comprises a statement signed by the nominating Member. Open to a European psychologist or a team of European psychologists working in an institution in Europe (a member state of the Council of Europe); psychologists at any career stage may be nominated, including for example psychologists working as a journalist, communications person, or policy person.
