Honour of the European Federation of Psychologists' Associations: the Comenius award is designed to recognise a psychologist whose academic and teaching career in psychology is developing, particularly for the quality of their academic contribution to excellent teaching and learning. It was given to EFPA in 2007 by the Union of Psychologists' Associations of the Czech Republic and is awarded during the European Congress of Psychology.

Deadline: 2027 award round: per the timetable, the call for nominations goes to EFPA member associations in September 2026, the deadline for sending in nominations by EFPA members is March 25, 2027, 09:00 am CET, and the awards are presented in September 2027.

Target group: Nomination only: candidates are put forward by EFPA member associations — per the awards page, a nomination comprises a statement signed by the nominating Member. The award goes to a young European psychologist working in a European university (Europe being understood as a member state of the Council of Europe) who at the date of close of nominations is thirty years of age or under and within ten years of the completion of their PhD or equivalent professional standing.
