Funds basic research with an economics focus across 19 thematic clusters, incl. labor markets, financial literacy, and selected social science topics. Relevant for psychology in economic and decision psychology. Around 10,200 projects funded with approx. €845 million since 1966.

Funding amount: 50.000 – 300.000 €

Target group: Researchers at Austrian research institutions

Deadline: Two submission windows per year (2nd 2026 session: January 26 – March 18, 2026)
