Dissertation prize of the ÖFEB in cooperation with Waxmann publishers for dissertations in educational research and development. The prize consists of an open-access publication of the dissertation in the series Beiträge zur Bildungsforschung – financed half by ÖFEB and half by Waxmann; no money is named.

Target group: Authors of monograph dissertations with a clear educational-science focus, still unpublished, submitted at an Austrian university or related to the Austrian education system, with the highest overall grade
